Diana Kimpton

Diana worked as a teacher before eventually becoming a writer. She has written a number of children's books both fiction and non-fiction, including some of the humourous
non-fiction series 'The Knowledge.' Her humour and love of horses also shows through in her Pony Mad Princess books, a series of horsy tales for the younger reader. She has recently also written a more serious pony story for a slightly older readership about a girl in foster care. In addition to writing books, she also works as a scriptwriter.

Diana lives on the Isle of Wight. She enjoys riding when she has the time and is hoping to get her own horse soon.

Diana and her husband also run a children's book review site at Wordpool (see link).

The Pony Mad Princess aka Pony Crazed Princess Series:
Humourous series about a young princess who prefers ponies to girly dressing up and princess-like duties!
NB - in the USA the series is called THE PONYCRAZED PRINCESS: do not ask me why! Some of the series also have different titles in America. I will add these when I have done some further research.
